Day 15: Legs of Lead

Cheese Whiz…if you ever want to take on this B4L program, let me tell you ONE thing you MUST do–well, besides adjusting your diet and eating way more than you’d ever think you’d be eating (or, as often), and working out 6 days a week, regardless. You MUST have a workout partner. You need the encouragement, push, comraderie, and the laughs. Trust me; you’re going to need it. Doing legs is a blessing/curse. Here’s why: while you’re on the machine, and don’t need the spot, those BURNING THIGHS, thanks to those “progressive weights with minimal time in between” you’ll be doing, is not fun, and you’ll likely tend to stop. BUT, if you have someone there to push you (humiliation works too), then you’ll likely GO ONE MORE. This is KEY! Okay, enough armchair coaching.

On another topic, cheating is okay. IF it’s ONE day a week. Do NOT cheat more than once a week. Especially if it’s your “weakness” and you’re facing an intense workout the next day; like the leg press/curl/squat/lunges. Guilty as charged, your Honor!
